MC Arax 35 mm Tilt+Shift Lens in Nikon D200

review

I have used this lens for one year in my Nikon D70, now I bought a Nikon D200 and there are couple of improvements in D200 compared to D70:

  • There is more room for the lens to rotate than there was in D70. Even if there ain't nomore demand for that, because the manufacturer has made some changes to new version of the lens and it fits OK.
  • D200 has much bigger viewfinder than D70 had, so it's easier to focus manually.
  • AE works, though you have to make a compensation of about -2EV when the lens is tilted.
  • TTL Flash works with this lens.
